3 Thought On exists because I want to live in a world where: 1. We consume, process and share information in a responsible way 2. We are all better informed 3. Wisdom is maximized and abundant I believe we need to challenge our thoughts, feelings and emotions with a critical mind. I believe we need to do better at unlearning what is no longer useful, relearning what needs to be updated, and learning the new principles that elevate us all. This podcast offers wide range of topics, relevant to everyday life. We aim to deliver verifiable factual information in concise episodes with enough resources so you can DO YOUR OWN THINKING and come up with your OWN opinions.

In Episodes 3, 5 and 7 of this podcast, m friend John and I discussed the background and purpose of classical argumentation:
- How to argue better
- how the ancients practiced it
- How Aristotle shaped it
- How leaders such as Caesar, Lincoln, FDR and MLK used it
We’ve also discussed the means/modes of such argumentation:
- ethos (character/credibility)
- pathos (emotion)
- logos (logic)
- kairos (timing)
- telos (goal/purpose)
Today we build on those conversations and discuss argumentation being battle tested by skilled opponents before judging audiences.
Enjoy!
